I don't think I'm the only one that's accepted summer is over and its time for the Birkenstocks to go back in the wardrobe. That said, I'm not ashamed to say I love Autumn fashion, layers, faux fur, ankle boots, you name it! It wasn't a surprise that I stumbled upon SPY LOVE BUY, an online store with a huge range of shoes perfect for each season. I had heard about them through other bloggers and YouTubers and couldn't wait to try them for myself! Once I pry my sandals off my feet and we head into September I can definitely see myself purchasing a few pairs of their shoes, and even better - they go up to a UK size 8!! Great for girls like me with sliiiiiightly large feet.

Here are my current favorites on their website, go check them out and tweet them @spylovebuy saying I sent you!

The past week or so, moving out has become a very real possibility. House viewings and application forms is exciting stuff but it ain't got nothing on H&M Home. I can't wait to start decorating my first house so I'm sharing with you a few things I've been lusting over that I will most certainly be buying as long as we get accepted!

H&M home is so affordable and so chic, a little something for everyone. From monochrome to pastel colours and even stuff for little babies bedrooms, enjoy.

Fortunately for me, the nearest Starbucks to home is a good 15 minute drive so I took it upon myself to have a go at making Iced Latte's. They've been a hit between me and my friends throughout summer so I'm letting you in on the most simple steps ever!

You will need:
  • A handful of ice
  • Instant coffee
  • Sugar (optional)
  • Milk of your preference.

Firstly, boil a small amount of water in your kettle and spoon 1 tsp of instant coffee into a separate glass and stir. If you prefer a sweeter coffee, you can do the same with 1-2 tsp of sugar and wait for it to dissolve. Pop your ice into a glass or jar - (I chose an old jam jar today they're just the cutest) and fill just over half way with milk. Finally, wait for your coffee to cool slightly and pour it over the top.

Simple as that! Lovely and refreshing on a hot day and you can easily substitute the sugar for sweeteners, and semi skimmed milk for skimmed. Let me know if you try this out for yourselves by tagging me on Instagram @charlrumsby.

I recently purchased MAC's Mythology eye shadow from their website as a little treat for myself. I'm really warming to copper shades this summer, they're perfect for festivals and easily worn during the day or into the night. However as soon as this little beauty came through my door I realised it was almost identical to the 5th shade in the Sleek Storm palette.... When swatched, the Sleek shadow is slightly lighter but when blended they are very nearly identical. Mythology from MAC was £10 for the single shadow, and the Sleek palette was £7.99 for 12 shadows!! I'd love to hear your thoughts on make up dupes, what's your opinion on price over quality?

When I reach 100 followers on Bloglovin' I'll be giving away a band new MAC lipstick so head over and follow me if you're not already!! See my last post for entry details.

Around a month ago on holiday one of my favourite MAC lipsticks became severely deformed after what I can only assume was a mad night with its lid off in my handbag. I was so annoyed until I finally cried my river and found myself Googling ways to fix it. To some, the before picture might not look that bad but every time I tried to apply it, it was edging closer to breaking off entirely. So here's my advice to any of you currently in this situation.

Step 1: Accept the fact your favourite lipstick will never be perfect again.
Step 2: Apply paper towel to your preparation area to catch prevent marking everything in Neon Orange.

Step 3: Carefully using matches or a lighter, melt the problem area of the lipstick.
Step 4: Using a cocktail stick, begin to re-mould the product to its original state.
Step 5: Place your lipstick in the fridge (with your dinner) for approximately 30 minutes or until it has re-set.

Step 6: Give the packaging a quick clean up. (and repaint nails - ugh!)
Step 7: Test the lipstick to ensure no more damage can be done.

Voila` fixed!!
