I was never the kind of person to have a night time skin routine but since I got this as a gift for my birthday back in April I haven't gone a day without using it. The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion has worked wonders for me. Whenever I get a break out I'm 99% of the time left with a red mark that lasts about 2 weeks and is such a pain to cover and means using a lot of concealer. However this product has dramatically improved the appearance of break out redness and natural blemishes around my T-zone. It took me about 2 weeks to start noticing a difference but my face is finally free of skin demons and I can only put it down to this product. If I was confident enough to post a no make up selfie for proof trust me I would!!!

I cannot recommend this enough and for just £9.00 you get 30ml of product which will last ages as you only need a pea sized amount per application.

One of my close friends Laura from Talknineteentoadozen has just uploaded her first ever YouTube video, and by no means was I shocked that it was a haul!! She's found some gorgeous staple pieces and I'd love it if you could head over to her channel (here) and check her out. I love seeing my friends doing something they enjoy so go and subscribe and tell her I sent you :)

If any of you follow me on Instagram @styleaked, you'll know I'm currently obsessed with skater style slip on shoes. I bagged myself a white croc print pair from Topshop a couple of months back which were so painful to break in but are now comfy as hell, and this week I treated myself to a pair of Petrol spill Docklands from ASOS for just £20 and oh my are they incredible.

They dress down any outfit and I can see them being suitable for any weather. For the spring with turned up jeans and I can't wait to pair them with high waisted shorts in the summer! Enjoy the eyegasm....

I received an email from Missguided yesterday advertising their festival range and 15% off for students which I myself am not but one of my friends is... oops. Anyway I'm going to Hideout Festival in Croatia next month and haven't even thought about what to wear without looking the same as everyone else. However I couldn't contain my excitement for the Missguided festival range so here are a few pieces I've popped into my basket and will hopefully be purchasing over the next couple of days - enjoy!

1. Emmelie Crepe Bralet
As the festival continues into the evenings I think this will be a great piece to layer with a kimono and a lovely pair of shorts for a cooler yet still feminine outfit. It comes in so many colours I think I may order it in lilac as well to compliment the tan I'm yet to have gained.

2. Burma Tropical Print Shorts
At first I spotted the shorts and decided I couldn't leave the country without them then I continued scrolling and spotted the gorgeous matching top. I have no words other than imagine dancing on a boat in the middle of the sea with these shorts on, sunglasses, a gin sling and your best friends. Roll on June!

3. Palika Palm Print A-Line Dress
I am obsessed with white for SS14 and I think teamed with a pair of chunky sandals this dress would look amazing for a meal in the evening and beachy salt sprayed hair. I hope the quality is as good as it looks on the website as I find sometimes Missguided can be a bit hit and miss but I need this dress in my life.

4. Silk Feel Cami Dress in Silver
I can't wait to start playing around with metallics for SS14 and this swing dress is a great place to start, with matte nails and statements rings I think its a gorgeous piece for the evenings. Thrown over a bikini from the day and you're done.

How will you be styling festivals abroad this year?

A couple of months back I volunteered myself to organise my friends baby shower little did I know how much planning and organising went into it!! It's been so much fun getting little bits and bobs together and most things have been DIY jobs. I've got friends making bunting and baking cakes so there is still a lot more to come as well as still having half a baby blanket to knit!! Eeeek. Anyway here's a little insight as to what I've got sorted so far and I hope it helps any of you trying to plan a baby shower on a budget.

I picked up these cute straws from eBay for just £1.99 which I'm hoping will look lovely in tall glasses of ice cold cloudy lemonade - yum! I grabbed a few muffin cases from Tesco which I'll probably only use the blue ones for the baby shower and the others for experiment muffins.

The embarassing and out of focus picture of me and my dad is for one of the games of guess the baby, I've asked all the girls to bring in a photo of them as a baby/toddler and we have to guess who is who with some sort of prize at the end - cue awful baby photo albums!

I also got this cheap picture frame from Tesco and made a timetable of the dates up to and after my friends due date. The aim is to pop a sticker on the date you think the mother to be will give birth and the person closest to the day wins a prize, most likely chocolate knowing us!! I got this idea from Pintrest, always a great source for DIY ideas.

Last but not least a tiny snippet of one of the blanket squares I've been knitting, to say I learnt how to knit on Christmas day I don't think I've done that badly!!

Finally I got 3 mason jars from Amazon to fill with different varieties of blue sweets but they remain empty for now as they wouldn't last 5 minutes in the same room as me!! Keep an eye out for how it all turns out in my next baby shower post - 12 days and counting!!

So I've been playing around with my make up regime recently after a meltdown about Primers - see here, I've tried and tested a fair few products but finally think I've found the perfect combination of products to see me through the summer and that will look even better when it comes to finally getting a tan.

I was kindly sent a tester of M.A.C Skin Base Visage with a recent purchase and I have been using it non stop!! My prayers have been answered!! It doesn't feel greasy like most primers and it works so well with my moisturiser. Improving the longevity of my make up is a big deal for me as some shifts I start work at 7am and other times I finish work at 2am and this product is ideal. I'll definitely be purchasing the full size bottle when my 2 testers run out.

I usually switch between my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and my M.A.C Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15. Both great products that really make an improvement with the look of my skin without even applying foundation. I personally prefer the Pro Longwear concealer as I find its more build-able than the Collection.

Next is foundation, I'm currently mixing 2 products - naughty I know!! Maybelline FITme in the shade 120 and M.A.C Studio Sculpt in NW15 work so well together, I think I could've done with getting a darker shade in the Studio Sculpt however for the time being they work perfectly as a duo.

Onto bronzer, I'm using Acessorize Baked Bronzer duo in Shade 1. It does have a gold shimmer running through it so if you're looking for a matte bronzer this probably isn't for you. It does a great job of giving that summery glow which I'm trying to achieve as the weather gets a bit warmer.

Next I give myself a quick brush over with the Rimmel Clear Complexion powder using my Real Techniques powder brush and all I can say is that this product works miracles. To finish off I apply my Benefit High Beam highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones, down the center of my nose and on my browbone.
